Picture it. I’m 45 minutes away at my parents house. About 10 minutes before we are scheduled to leave, I change Landon’s diaper. About five minutes before we’re scheduled to leave, he poops in it. It was the last diaper I had on me. Crap.
I wish I could tell you that was the only time something like that had happened.
We’ve randomly stored diapers at the grandparent’s homes, the console of my car, and oh right, in the diaper bag. But, we needed something better for those unexpected situations.
Bring on our 2013 Kid Car Kit. Designed specifically for our 2.5 and 2 month old’s potential needs.
Here is what we included in our kit:
- A change of clothes for both kids
- Spare burp cloth and bib
- Diapers, both sizes (yep, two in diapers)
- Wipes
- Sunscreen, bug spray, lotion, hand sanitizer, and diaper rash cream
- A sippy cup
- A towel
- A blanket
- Plastic bags
- A ziploc w/ Mom stuff
- A stroller bug net (we’ve never used it, but you never know I guess)
